A reading companion that helps you understand your book
Mentor mode is meant to be a supportive space to ask questions while you read. It won’t test you or grade you. Instead, it will help you get unstuck, understand what’s happening, and make sense of tricky language or context.
What Mentor will be used for
- Learning more about the book (characters, plot points, motivations, themes).
- Getting background info (when it was written, the setting, historical context, author intent).
- Help with vocabulary, idioms, and “weird phrases” or confusing lines.
- Explaining “what just happened” in a chapter, scene, or passage.
- Clarifying unfamiliar references, customs, or social context that affects meaning.
